Unemployment in the Kladno district and its socio-eoconomy impact

Diploma thesis Unemployment in the Kladno district and its socio-economy impact analyses process of unemployment in the Kladno district in the last 30 years. This process is compared to other districts in the Central Bohemian Region. The thesis describes particular socio- economy issues related to unemployment. Other part of thesis includes labour market in the Kladno district and its local largest employers. Employment policy in this area is also part of the research and is represented by labour offices. The first chapter includes general terminology connected to unemployment. Next chapters focus on the local situation of unemployment in the Kladno district. Firstly is described progress of unemployment rate and its calculation changes in the last 30 years in the Czech Republic. The third part specifies employment policy represented by involved institutions. The fourth chapter deals with socio-economy related problems and with main socio-economy problems in Kladno district. The fifth part describes situation of labour market in the Kladno district. The crucial progress related to the economic sector in the Kladno district is mentioned in the last part of the thesis.
Reactions of Foreign Performers of Popular Music to Selected Social Issues in the 21st Century

The diploma thesis deals with the reactions of foreign performers of popular music to selected social issues in the 21st century. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical part, a research methodology and an empirical part. In the theoretical part, the development of popular music is described and its genres are introduced. Selected social issues of today are also theoretically explained. Qualitative analyzes and research questions are defined in the research methodology. The empirical part includes two main types of research. In the first phase, a qualitative analysis of the content of musical texts together with a qualitative analysis of foreign media content is used on musical texts from this century. In-depth interviews are conducted in the second phase of the empirical part. In the conclusion, the results of the empirical part are interpreted and summarized. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out, through qualitative analyzes and research questions, how world celebrities from the field of popular music stand towards selected social issues of the 21st century and what impact their opinions can have on the general public. Social problems of city Most from perspective of its young population

This Thesis deals with the social problems of city Most and how they are perceived and evaluated by its young population. Under influence of historical events the city has a very specific composition of the population and it has long been faced with many problems that are inherently social, economic, environmental and other. The Thesis presents the view of pupils and students of Most's schools on these problems and it analyzes which problems students consider as urgency, how they evaluate the living conditions in Most and what is their relationship to the city. The Thesis is supported by own SAQ survey conducted on a sample of approximately 600 students from different types of schools that provides answers to most of the research questions. Given that the Romany question intensively rezonates between young denizens of Most, the survey has been extended to gypsies living in one of Most's Romany localities - well-known settlement Chanov. This enabled the comparison of respondents' opinions (mostly from the rank of the majority) with views of young gypsies. Analysis of Roma integration in the Czech Republic using the theory of social construction of target populations

The master thesis deals with public policies in the area of Roma minority inclusion in the modern history of the Czech Republic after 1989. The main objective of the thesis is to identify, by applying the theory of social construction of target populations, the form of state intervention in solviing the exclusion of the Roma minority from society. And then to find out what influence the social construction of the Roma and their political possibilities play here. The research consists in analysing and identifying the different elements of the theory in the following order: 1. Analysis of public policies for Roma integration; 2. Analysis of the social construction of the Roma; 3. Analysis of the political power of Roma. The first step towards achieving the aim of the thesis is to reveal the nature of the policy design of Roma integration. In this step, I will analyse a convolute of public policy documents, which includes international legal conventions, domestic minority laws and strategic documents. In the next step, I will focus on the social image of the Roma, the form of which, according to the social construction theory of target populations, plays an undeniable role in the formulation of public policies and the behaviour of elected officials. Mixed forms of elderly care and its impact on informal carers' mental health and social problems

The diploma thesis deals with mixed forms of elderly care in the Czech Republic. The aim is to identify the advantages and potential disadvantages of mixed forms of elderly care in connection with informal carers' mental health and social life. There are 2 groups of informal carers distinguished within the research - those, who get professional care help and those, who care alone or get just a little professional care help. Mixed methods design, which combines quantitative and qualitative research, was used to study the world of informal carers. The quantitative part is based on data from a research Podpora neformálních pečovatelů, which were selected by STEM/MARK agency in 2014. Qualitative research is based on 10 in-depth interviews with informal carers. Both pieces of research are integrated in a phase of data analysis by the explanation method. Informal carers' mental health problems and social problems and its intensity in connection to mixed forms of elderly care are formulated in the results. The thesis also presents factors, which influence mental health problems and social problems. Furthermore, it is focused on the analysis of the current state of social care for children in Slovak republic and their comparison and developing suggestions to improve it. Data were obtained from qualitative research, using financial reports and statements.
The Role Of The Roma Advisor in The Process Of Community Planning

My bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and research. In the first theoretical part I tried to describe and explain basic terms such as community planning of social services and Roma adviser. In the second part I try to fulfill the aim of the work through qualitative research, which is to find out the role of the Roma advisor in the process of community planning and answer the research question: Is the position of the Roma advisor important for community planning? The qualitative research was carried out using the method of questioning and using a semi-structured interview. The research group consists of Roma advisors from the South Bohemian Region. The research part also includes the methodology of work, especially the description of data collection and processing. The results of the interviews are then evaluated.
Social aspects of activities offered in the Park Čtyři Dvory in České Budějovice

This work pursues activities offered by park Čtyři Dvory in České Budějovice and its social impact to this area. The goal is description of all these activities and maping problems which prevent further development of providing social services to citizens. For this survey I choose two questions. Which are the problems of currently offered activities in development in park persist? What is the solutions of these problems according the respondents. Theoretical part is dedicated to social problems on current big Czech agglomerations and to specific social problems of housing estates Máj and Vltava in České Budějovice and finaly the park itself where it is analysed its potential and limits of impact on solutions of the social problems of these estates. Research part is made by qualified research and technique of structual conversations with open questions. The questions were conducted with  representatives of public and with involved specialists. The research showed us that the biggest problem is not enough of control over the park and its all round maintenance. The there are problems with truancy, bullying and using of narcotic and psychotropic substances. And last but not least unused potential of the park. On base of the results was suggested actions in form of plan overall improvement condition of the park, potential expansion, periodical controls of all facilities. The instalation of quality camera system and of course social workers working with families in excluded locations.
Legal, Social and Criminogenic Aspects of Alcoholism

This bachelor thesis deals with alcohol dependence, and what problems this dependence has. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the influence of alcohol dependence on the individual's social status and, above all, on what social problems are most often encountered by people dependent on alcohol. Equally important is to find out what the relationship between increased alcohol consumption and crime is, and what crime is most often done under the influence of alcohol. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part, with the help of specialized literature, defines the characteristics of alcoholism. Furthermore, it is important in the theoretical level to describe the legal, social and criminogenic aspects of alcoholism. In the practical part, the work goes in social and criminogenic direction. Alcohol-dependent social problems were identified through questionnaires. Research on alcohol-related crime was carried out through analyzes of statistical documents of the Police of the Czech Republic.
